Jonathan

Jonathan Watts is a graduate in Modern History from the Queen’s College, Oxford. His 38 years of teaching experience began at Manchester Grammar School, one of the leading academic schools in the UK. Between 1988 and 2012, he was the Head of History and Politics at Benenden School. With his pedagogical enthusiasm, commitment to education and disciplinary expertise, Jonathan has continued inspiring his History students whilst tutoring them since retiring from teaching full-time.

Dr Angus Hsu studied medicine at University of Cambridge and University College London, graduating with a MA (Hons) and MBBS degree with an intercalated BSc degree in pharmacology, completing a research project on the novel nucleic acid binding Alba proteins. After qualifying as a doctor, Angus worked in Newham University Hospital and Queen's Hospital. Alexander

Alex graduated from St John's College, Cambridge with a Triple First-Class Honours degree in Biological Natural Sciences, specialising in Pathology. He was awarded the Max A. Barrett Prize in Pathology for his research, and was selected for a prestigious research fellowship at the California of Technology. Alex is currently studying Clinical Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Having tutored students both during his time at Cambridge and at ARCH, Alex has a real enthusiasm for teaching and is avid about giving his students a sound piece of mind during exam seasons.

Rachel Wong graduated from Cambridge with Honours in Economics. In her second year, she founded the Cambridge University Securities Trading Club, where she organised educational courses and trading simulations for members to develop market awareness and experience in trading. Mathematics Derek Derek graduated from Oxford with a First-Class Honour in Mathematics and Statistics as well as a Master’s degree specialising in Mathematical and Computational Finance. Besides teaching IB and GCE A-Level Mathematics, facilitating his students’ exploration of the subject has always been Derek’s expertise and a source of professional fulfilment for him.
Sciences Brett Noden Brett is currently in his sixth year reading Veterinary Medicine at Robinson College, Cambridge, with an academic focus in small animal and equine medicine. Prior to this, he graduated from Cambridge with an Honours degree in Biological Natural Sciences, with a particular focus on genetics, pathology, evolution and biochemistry. Sciences Sean  Sean graduated from Jesus College, Oxford with a First-Class Honours Master’s degree in Chemistry, specialising in Organometallic Catalysis. With a passion in Education, he is currently studying for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at UCL whilst inspiring students to study Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences at ARCH.
Sciences Ruby Since graduating from Merton College, Oxford with a MPhys Honours Degree in Physics with a full scholarship, Ruby has been working in the education industry for 5 years. With her extensive experience and robust academic background, Ruby is capable of providing students with tailored academic support to achieve their full potential and gain places into top UK universities in Physics.
Sciences Christopher Dr. Chris Crowe read a Master’s degree in Theoretical Astrophysics, gaining a First-Class Honours along with other prize awards before publishing his research and moving to Sidney Sussex, Cambridge to read a Master’s degree in Advanced Mathematics. He later gained his doctorate in astrophysics as part of a European Space Agency project looking at the relic radiation from the big bang. Matthew read Law at Trinity College, the University of Oxford with a full scholarship from the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarship of Overseas Studies. With Matthew’s keen interest in criminal law, he conducted research in the theory of criminal defences and was awarded the Trinity College Colin Nicholls QC Law Prize for his outperformance in the criminal law examination. Having witnessed the unquantifiable value of education, Matthew sees education as the foundation of the future and has an array of teaching experiences, and is inspired to help students from all backgrounds to formulate and attain their goals.
