Our Team

Danny is an international relations major and a graduate of Stanford University with seventeen years of experience as a teacher and a tutor. While at Stanford, Danny was class president and interned for the Clinton White House. Additionally, Danny was the CEO and co-founder of an Internet startup company called GroupEnglines, which connected individuals to volunteer opportunities. After graduation, in addition to building a career as a tutor, Danny has found success as a writer, having authored numerous feature films and television shows.

Danny began teaching and tutoring while earning his undergraduate degree in international relations at Stanford University. He began by working for several of the large, American tutoring companies (Princeton Review, Kaplan, Elite), but eventually broke out on his own in 2003 and began tutoring privately, focusing on SAT and ACT preparation, SAT II US HISTORY, SAT II ENGLISH, SAT II MATHEMATICS as well as a number of academic subjects including English, math, history, physics and writing. Additionally, Danny expanded his services to include college application essay preparation. He worked for three years for an online editing company called Essay Edge, where he edited literally thousands of undergraduate and graduate school admissions essays. Danny has guided his students towards admission into many of the greatest American universities, including Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Washington University, Rice, UCLA and Cornell. Along the way, Danny has guided over a dozen students to perfect scores in the SAT and the ACT, and typically sees a minimum 25% improvement in his students' scores. He has become well known throughout Southern California for his innovative and thorough preparation materials and has even begun a Skype tutoring service to accommodate students living all over the world. For example, Danny currently has several clients in London and Hong Kong.
