Our Team

Zara graduated with honors from the University of Hong Kong, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Translation and European Studies. During her time at HKU, she pursued interdisciplinary courses in Egyptology, Hieroglyphs and History. Zara also took part in the university's exchange program, studying Danish Architecture and Nordic mythology at the University of Copenhagen, and completed a summer program at Utrecht University which focused on European contemporary history. With a keen interest in the field, Zara undertook her capstone thesis on Denmark post-war memory construction and remembrance.

Zara's passion for English was ignited in kindergarten when her mother introduced her to BBC's Blue Planet documentaries, captivated by David Attenborough's narration. Her enthusiasm persisted through extensive reading, from encyclopedias to fiction. Zara's commitment to English language learning was reflected in her decade-long engagement with British Council as both learner and teacher. Since then, she has been guiding and supporting primary and secondary students to grasp their craft in English Language. Zara comes to ARCH with her own dedication to continue inspiring students  by nurturing their curiosity, providing incentives for exploration, and fostering a love for English that will guide them on a lifelong journey of learning and self-discovery.

Here at ARCH Education, Zara is a teacher of English for students in seeking enrichment and enhancement as well as examination preparation for schools that they aspire to.

In her down time, Zara is either reading a nice book and enjoying a good cup of coffee in a cozy cafe, crocheting her next project, or solo traveling and exploring different museums.
