Journey at ARCH : HK & UK University Admissions Consulting, Tuition & Test Prep

When M.L. started studying with us for IAL Physics, he was 10 years old. When he finished his 3 IAL exams, he was 11 years old, achieving A*A*A in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. When he applied to Oxford, he was 11 years old and we assisted him with MAT and interview prep. M.L. received decent feedback from Oxford for a relatively strong performance when compared to all the other candidates who were invited to interview. However, M.L's average score was just below the level of the students who were made an offer. Although M.L. ultimately did not get into Oxford, we're proud to have helped him get so far in the Oxford admissions process and receive an offfer to study at HKU!

For my personal statement preparation, the consultant told me to brainstorm a list of achievements and ECAs which I could put in my personal statement. Extra reading was suggested e.g. books from Oxbridge reading list and on medicinal chemistry (COX receptors). The consultant introduced more interesting sentence structures and information into my personal statement. I am very pleased with the final draft. I think it is one of the main reasons why I got interviews at my chosen universities.
