Our Team

Billy grew up and attended primary and secondary school nearby Toronto, Canada. After high school, he attended the University of Toronto, where he indulged his interests and attained a degree with a specialization in Chinese development and history and a minor in political science.  Post-graduation, Billy studied and completed his TESOL certification before beginning his career in education.

Billy began his career in education through teaching English to students in Beijing, China. He found teaching and helping others to be rewarding and continued on this path in Seoul, South Korea, where he spent nearly a decade instructing students aged 6 – 16 in an array of subjects ranging from English, science, history, and debate.  At Arch, Billy taught and contributed to the development of the high school level Enrichment program including Critical Reading and Writing as well as worked with students to prepare for entrance exams and interviews. Later, Billy took the position of an English instructor and marketing manager at an international school in Mississauga, Canada where he spent his time helping students attain the highest of proficiency in English language.

Billy is an English Enrichment instructor and curriculum developer as well as an instructor for students preparing for English assessment in a public or entrance setting.

Billy enjoys a variety of interests outside of work including basketball, hiking, film and TV, arts and crafts, and spending time with friends and family.
