Our Team

Charlotte graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She also pursued her Master’s degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry. 

Charlotte’s love for science started when she met two Chemistry teachers in high school. Since then, her education and passion has guided her to become a Chemistry teacher so she can engage more students in the same way her past teachers inspired her. Charlotte has taught young children between the ages of 4-18 across disciplines including such as English, Math, Science, Piano, and Music Theory. Moreover, she has experience building curriculum to better help students excel in exams. Charlotte believes maintaining a high level of motivation is key to make the learning process more efficient. Her teaching style utilizes real-world examples and designs class activities based on student’s hobbies and interests. She believes that the first step of the learning process should not be to force, but to attract and foster interest in chemistry. With her strong Chemistry background and experiences with young age children, she is both a knowledgeable and dedicated instructor who focuses on the IGCSE and IB Chemistry programs. 

Charlotte enjoys playing piano, doing yoga, and going to the gym during her leisure time. She recently received her piano diploma certificate and states music helps her express feelings and feel relaxed. She has a keen interest in different areas including music, history, sports, and science.

Here at ARCH, Charlotte will be focusing her experience and expertise to guide students through sciences, especially Chemistry.
