ARCH’s annual Ivy & US Universities Day was successfully held last Saturday! With current students, incoming students, and parent on the panel, participants gained valuable insight on applying to US colleges from every perspective. The essay brainstorm workshops for students were led by prestigious alumni from UC Berkeley, Brown University and University of Chicago. Students learned about how to write supplemental essays and hook the reader with creative prompts. A second panel for parents was presented by Jennifer Yu, Co-founder of ARCH Education, and Taylor Coplen, Senior US Admissions Counsellor. Parent of Dartmouth College incoming student and current student of Boston College also shared experience on how to deal with the stress of school, extracurricular activities, and college applications.
