Summer Experiential Series: Be Inspired by Industry Professionals!
This summer, experience learning in a wholly different angle! With Industry experts and professionals coming from STEM and Robotics, Mini Moot, Art and Design, Crime Scene Forensics, we bring you the Summer Experiential Series at ARCH! Coming both knowledge and application, students will leverage their foundation at school to learn novel concepts from best and collaborate on hands on projects.

STEM & Robotics Program (for ages 8-10)
This course provides an exciting hands-on learning experience where students will have the opportunity to build and program their own robots. It will be a series of guided challenges to hone students' grasp of the fundamentals of coding and mechanics. This structured program is designed to capture the interest and imagination of our students through the application of STEM.
Date : 14 Jun - 16 Aug (Mon-Fri, 10 lessons)
Time: 11:30am - 1:00pm / 2:30pm - 4:00pm
Highlight: Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM)
Target Student: 8-10 years old / rising G3-G5 / P3-P5 / Y4-6

Lee Fan, who received his PhD in Chemistry from Loughborough University, is ARCH very own resident STEM specialist. Lee teaches and inspires students to be technologically inquisitive and savvy. He is our designer and developer of Robotics and Coding courses at ARCH.

Art & Design Program (for ages 8-10)
To harness the infinite creativity and imagination of our students, fashion designer Vivian Luk will seek to guide and inspire budding artists and designers. Through manipulating paper and other selective fashion materials, students will learn skills ranging from fashion illustrating to creating a miniature size mock-up and finally drafting a full scale paper garment that would showcase the achievement of their confident spirit.
Date : 26 Jul - 6 Aug (Mon-Fri, 10 lessons)
Time: 12:00nn - 1:30pm (1.5hrs per lesson)
Highlight: Research & sketching, collaborative design and individual critiques
Target Student: 8-10 years old / rising G3-G5 / P3-P5 / Y4-6

Ms Vivian Luk is an artist of many talents. Classically trained in art, dance, music and drama, she graduated from Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Vivian has worked directly with Ms Vera Wang to create iconic red carpet looks that showcase her talents. For ARCH students, Vivian aims to ignite the creative minds and fuels their passion in the field of design and fashion by unlocking their artistic potentials.
Crime Scene Forensics Program (for ages 11-15)
Led by CSI expert, we will immerse students into the roles of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, as they hone their abilities of observation and deduction to apply new skills such as fingerprinting and DNA analysis. With hands on experience with a constructed crime scene, students will be able to apply physics, chemistry and biology in solving a crime and figure out “Whodunnit?”

Instructor: Kiki Wong, Forensic Expert and Communications Specialist

A veteran of criminal and civil courts, Ms Kiki comes to ARCH with her 17 years of experience in the field of forensic science. Her problem solving know-how came from the New Scotland Yard Metropolitan Police where she was trained and worked. After Kiki returned to Hong Kong, she has been working as a forensic consultant as well as a lecturer for Crime Scene Processing and Forensic Evidence.
Mini Moot Program (for ages 13-15)
Law & Order forms the foundation of the most thrilling detective novels. Practicing lawyer Jennifer Pao will guide students through the legal faculties of contract, tort and criminal law in order to develop students’ critical thinking and analytical ability. Jennifer will also lead students in writing legal arguments of prosecution and defense which they will present in a mock trial on the last day.

Ms Jennifer Pao graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Geography and Economics. She went on to pursue a legal career and has been a lawyer for over 14 years with experience working in private practice for a magic circle law firm and as in-house legal counsel for an international bank. In partnership with ARCH, she aims to guide budding young minds in grasping the intricacies of legal concepts and inspire the next generation of high-minded lawyers.
