(for ages 7 -12)
The Art & Design course focuses on grooming students’ creativity, problem solving skills and individual expression. Students will learn to find their voice through inquiries and taking initiative. Working in a group ecosystem, we will nurture exchange of inspirations among peers. A big part of the design process is through drafting, engineering and manipulating paper, being used like fabric in draping and pattern making in the fashion industry. Student will learn material manipulation techniques in designing their own miniature ‘shop’ and a life size outfit.

Junior Graffiti Artist
(for ages 9-11 & 12-14)
How do we encourage youth to express themselves? How can they build confidence in what they believe in and feel? Through combining different modern art forms, we offer students the tools to express themselves and make every surface their canvases. With inspirations from our independent art team, we will expose students to contemporary greats like Banksy and engage them in creative expression and develop their styles using multiple art mediums and techniques.

Design Thinker
(for ages 7-10)
Led by a team of passionate designers and architects, the objectives of this course is to cultivate ideas of social well-being in students as well as nurture their creative minds. Throughout the learning journey we will guide students to cultivate compassion, innovation and responsibility through completing exercises in material science, user-centered design and sustainable practices. The final project of the course would also be a practical resident module that would benefit the unhoused community of Hong Kong.

Chinese Anthropologist
(for ages 11-12)
Civilization and culture shape our daily lives, from red packets to the use of chopsticks, elements of history is built into every facet of our society. In this course, our historian & museum curator will narrate the rich texture of Chinese history through a series of actual relics and artifacts that students will be examining and appraising. Through engaging with the physical dimension of history, students will learn to appreciate and discuss the richness of Chinese culture, religion and industry while grasping the fundamentals of archaeology and artifact appraisals.

Junior Urban Engineers
(for ages 9-14)
Get a taste of everyday engineering, sustainable energy, app development, and coding in this special bootcamp! In this course with hands-on activities, students can explore different aspects of real-life engineering as they put together a solar-powered tram model, and think about what can be done about Hong Kong’s carbon footprint. Students will even get to dip their toes in app development by creating a prototype app, and explore the future of self-driving vehicles in a code-along exercise using MIT’s Scratch coding language.

Crime Scene Forensics
(for ages 7-13)
Led by our CSI expert, we will immerse students into the roles of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, as we hone their abilities of observation and deduction to apply new skills such as fingerprinting and DNA analysis. With hands-on experience using a constructed crime scene, students will be able to apply physics, chemistry and biology theories in solving a crime and figure out “Whodunnit?” For returning diehard detectives who will be attending Summer Term Group C, they will examine new fields of forgery, weapons testing and digital forensics. For our chapter of Mini Detectives, parents will join the investigation team to catch the criminal before they commit their crime again.

Mini Human Biologist

How do our lungs give us fresh air? How can I tell the difference between an itch and a pinch? How does our blood carry all the nutrients throughout our body? In our Mini Human Biologist course, we will explore the intricacies of the human body through fun and interactive experiments with human organs models which students will construct together with our biology specialists. Through scientific methods, students will gain a practical appreciation for the incredible results of natural evolution.

Through hands-on experiences with real medical tools & equipment and insider knowledge sharing from real medical doctors, the course will spark the curiosity of young minds for medical sciences and expose our future medical leaders to a wider range of possibilities!

Nature Conservation Tour*
(for ages 7-12)
The Nature Conservancy, known for its solid background in environmental sustainability and conservation, together with ARCH Community Outreach invite you to the Nature Conservation Tour initiative and experience the elements of “nature protection” and “sustainability” as well as cultivating environmental literacy. With our focus on Pak Nai ecology and conservation, our full day expedition to Pak Nai and Kon Pai Stream will see marine rehabilitation in action.

Crypto Artist & Entrepreneur
(for ages 11- 12)
What is Metaverse? How can you mint your own digital art? This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of digital creation with the intricacies of blockchain mechanics. The course is jointly taught by industry experts in data analysis, programming and coding as well as successful digital artists. Students will learn about blockchain and NFT’s mechanism, and how these elements are important drivers in our technology-driven lives. As part of their future life experience, students will create their own digital wallet, mint their very first token and list their first crypto art piece on the metaverse.

Little Pilot
(for ages 6-14)
Soar through the sky with our team of aviators. Through engaging aviation and science-based experiments, students will acquire a better understanding of different sciences, engineering and mathematics and the skills to apply them to real-world scenarios. At different level of this program, students will learn and apply knowledge from aerodynamics to the aircraft’s mechanical and electrical systems. As aspiring pilots working in groups, learners will enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Junior Robot Mechanic
(for ages 8 - 10)
This course offers an exciting hands-on learning experience where students will have the opportunity to build and program their own mechanical marvels. Led by our robotics and programming expert, the course will be a series of guided challenges to build students’ grasp of the fundamentals of coding and mechanics. This course is designed to capture the interest and imagination of students, all the while targeting the development of important Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics skills.

Intelligent Robot Builder
(for ages 12-14)
Taught by data scientists and Nvidia AI specialists, this course will guide students to design and develop in designing and coding AI applications. Through this engineering journey, students will be able to identify what is true AI and apply their newly acquired skills to program the Jetson Autonomous Robot - developed by MIT and Nvidia. Students will learn how to integrate coding and programming with electronics and hardware construction. Students will be trained in using a neural network to create their own smart robot!
